Logical topics

Virtual topics are logical mappings managed in Gateway for users on top of another Kafka topic.

A Virtual Topic is a logical representation of a topic that a Gateway client will see as any other topic but exist in another form in the real Kafka cluster.

Gateway provides some types of virtual topics you can use :

• Alias topics
• Concentrated topics
